Legal Aid Foundation of LA pays tribute
The Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, an organization dedicated to providing legal services to low-income people in Los Angeles, held its annual Access to Justice Dinner on Nov. 16 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Tom Unterman, founding partner of Rustic Canyon Partners, received the Access to Justice Award, and Lee Smalley Edmon, presiding judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court, received the Maynard Toll Award for Distinguished Public Service. Munger Tolles & Olson LLP was awarded the Pro Bono Service Award for its singular support of Legal Aid Foundation’s mission and its clients.
