Governor Appoints More Judges

In the third day of a judicial appointments blitz, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger gave the nod late Monday to 19 lawyers from San Jose to Los Angeles.

In the third day of a judicial appointments blitz, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger gave the nod late Monday to 19 lawyers from San Jose to Los Angeles.


The latest flurry of appointments included two Los Angeles County Superior Court commissioners, Michele E. Flurer and Lia R. Martin. Flurer, 49, and Martin, 45, have served as bench officers since 2006. Flurer is a Republican and Martin a Democrat.
