San Jose-based ZL Technologies Inc. snagged eBay Inc. litigation counsel Adam Sand to be its first in-house general counsel. The 60-person company, formed in 1999, creates archiving and e-discovery software for large organizations, including many in the financial sector such as Wells Fargo Co., UBS, Bank of New York and Cisco Systems Inc.
