Latham Bonuses Beat Market
Latham & Watkins awarded bonuses Friday to a large chunk of its associates, with payouts ranging from $2,500 to $85,000. The average bonus for each associate class exceeded the industry standard established in November by New York firms Sullivan & Cromwell and Cravath, Swaine & Moore.

Latham & Watkins awarded bonuses Friday to a large chunk of its associates, with payouts ranging from $2,500 to $85,000. The average bonus for each associate class exceeded the industry standard established in November by New York firms Sullivan & Cromwell and Cravath, Swaine & Moore. Associates had to bill 1,900 hours in 2009 to be eligible for a bonus.
