WASHINGTON - Even as negotiations over the proposed $700 billion bailout package consumed much of the oxygen on Capitol Hill Friday, the Senate confirmed San Diego Superior Court Judge Michael M. Anello and nine other judges to the federal bench.
Anello will fill a spot in the Southern District of California that has been vacant since U.S. District Judge Napoleon A. Jones took senior status in September 2007. ...
