The Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice honored Judge Lee Smalley Edmon, presiding judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court, with the Justice Award on March 22 at the Omni Hotel in Los Angeles. “The Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice is thrilled to recognize this year’s honorees, who improve the lives of low-income families in Los Angeles,” said LACLJ Executive Director Hellen Hong. Judge Yolando Orozco of the Superior Court presented Edmon with the award. Also recognized for their community service efforts were Courtney Chavez of Scheper Kim & Harris LLP and Jason Liang of Jones Day.
