Judge Halts Hotel Plans at Big Bear

SAN BERNARDINO - In a ruling hailed by environmentalists, a San Bernardino judge Wednesday halted a proposed 91-room hotel near Big Bear Lake, finding the city hadn't adequately addressed the project's impact on a federally protected plant whose only location on the plant is on 3 acres surrounding the mountain resort town.
