Alston & Bird LLP and CleanTech LA co-hosted “California’s Energy Future” on Oct. 11 at the City Club in Los Angeles. The event drew more than 90 attendees from all sectors of the energy industry and prompted a discussion about the energy-related challenges and opportunities facing California. The event began with a networking reception, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A forum. Speakers for the energy summit included Susan Kennedy, senior policy advisor for Alston & Bird LLP, Mary Nichols, chairman of the California Air Resources Board and Michael Picker, senior advisor to Gov.
