Insurers Arise

LOS ANGELES - A second insurer sued the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, claiming that the church is concealing what the bishops knew about priests accused of sexual abuse.

        Employers Reinsurance Corp. filed its claim in Los Angeles Superior Court, complaining that the church and victims suing over alleged abuse agreed to put on hold discovery while the parties attempt to reach a settlement.
