Judge Denies Change-of-Venue Motion in Killing of 5-Year-Old
SANTA ANA - A judge ruled Thursday that Alejandro Avila will stand trial in Orange County for the murder of 5-year-old Samantha Runnion, rejecting defense claims that "massive" pretrial publicity has prejudiced potential jurors.
