High Court Nominee Should Unite, Specter Says

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter said Thursday that he was preparing for a possible Supreme Court vacancy and urged President Bush to try to unite the country with his choice for the high court.
