Supreme Court Justices Confront Opinion Crunchtime

WASHINGTON - For 10 months of the year, I truly envy the Supreme Court justices for their leisurely schedule. Because they are turning out only half as many opinions as they did 15 years ago, the justices have plenty of time for travel, speeches and teaching at law schools both here and abroad - not to mention all the cultural events and parties in the Nation's Capital.
