DA Seeks Higher Bail for Rape Defendant

SANTA ANA - Citing his brief detainment by sheriff's deputies last week and his father's comments that his son will die if he goes to prison, prosecutors asked Monday for a substantial increase in rape defendant Gregory Scott Haidl's $100,000 bail.
