Bet Tzedek Legal Services held its annual dinner gala on Jan. 13 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. Barbara J. Desoer, president and chief executive officer of Bank of America Home Loans & Insurance, received the Luis Lainer Founder’s Award. The award recognized Bank of America’s financial support and volunteer service to Bet Tzedek for its Holocaust Survivors Justice Network initiative. The dinner raised roughly $2 million to support Bet Tzedek.
