Official Doubts Al-Qaida Mailed Anthrax Letters
WASHINGTON - Federal investigators doubt terrorists from the al-Qaida organization are behind a spate of allegedly anthrax-laden letters mailed to two media outlets, Microsoft and Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle's office, a senior law-enforcement official said Monday.
