Conflict of Interest Proves Costly for Firm
A Los Angeles jury has ordered New York-based Herzfeld & Rubin to pay nearly $1 million to a woman the firm represented at the same time it handled the legal affairs of a developer with whom the woman had an agreement to build a five-star hotel and spa in Romania.
