Paul Hastings guides $270 million hotel purchase


Paul Hastings LLP represented Oaktree Capital Management LP and Clearview Hospitality Capital LLC in their purchase of an 89 percent stake in the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown from Host Hotels & Resorts LP.


Per terms of the deal, which set the ownership value of the hotel at $303.4 million, Oaktree and Clearview invested approximately $270 million.
