A federal judge granted a motion to compel arbirtration Friday filed by 24 Hour Fitness USA Inc., placing classwide claims unpaid overtime from a proposed class of personal trainers in the hands of a neutral.
Edward J. Davila ruled the plaintiffs signed lawful arbitration agreements, rejecting the employees' arguments that the agreements were unconsionable and unenforceable.
