Eric Hughes comments on a hearing regarding settlement of a class action lawsuit against the Writer's Guild of America

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR COLUMN

A Daily Journal report Tuesday, May 4, from a hearing on Monday in a class action against the Writers Guild of America omitted some key facts.

At the hearing, Judge Carl West admonished the WGA for misleading writers about the terms of the settlement. It is regrettable that the Daily Journal seems to be following in the WGA's footsteps. Now there are two places where writers can go for disinformation.
