Kirkland & Ellis advises in private equity deal


U.S.-based private equity firm Vista Equity Partners agreed to buy United Kingdom-based Misys plc for $2 billion with help from Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Misys makes banking software. The Kirkland team included San Francisco partners David A. Breach, Francesco Penati and Sonali S. Jindal; Los Angeles associate Brian R. Ford; and attorneys in London.
