Alston & Bird LLP and Joint Venture Silicon Valley recently hosted “California’s Green Future” at the Four Seasons Silicon Valley in East Palo Alto. Renewable energy policy leaders discussed where California is headed in the renewable energy, green chemistry, carbon reduction and distributed generation fields. Panelists included Susan Kennedy, senior policy adviser at Alston & Bird and former Schwarzenegger chief of staff; Maureen Gorsen, partner at Alston & Bird and former director of the California Department of Toxic Substances Control; and Angelina Galiteva, founding director of the Renewables 100 Policy Institute.
