The San Fernando Valley Bar Association hosted its 21st Annual Judges’ Night Gala on Feb. 23 at Warner Center Marriott Hotel in Woodland Hills. The event featured special guests Chief Justice of California Tani Cantil-Sakauye and Los Angeles Superior Court Presiding Judge Lee Smalley Edmon. The event also honored Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael J. Convey as the 2012 SFVBA Judge of the Year and Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael K. Kellogg, who received the Inspiration Award. Also on hand to pay tribute to Kellogg was former NFL player Reggie Berry, who is now executive director of the Goals for Life Foundation. SFVBA has hosted Judges’ Night every year since 1992. — Connie Lopez
