Napa County Superior Court Judge Michael S. Williams will leave the bench in October following a public censure Monday by the Commission on Judicial Performance for taking two business cardholders from the City Club of San Francisco.

Williams and his counsel, Edith R. Matthai of Robie & Matthai, and commission examiner Mark A. Lizarraga agreed that the judge will resign on Dec. 5 — and not seek or accept any other judicial office...
