A bill to update the laws governing dating services for the internet age has prompted opposition from several county district attorneys.
SACRAMENTO — A bill to update the laws governing dating services for the internet age has prompted opposition from several county district attorneys.
The districts attorneys are members of an informal, year-old group called the California Auto Renewal Task Force, or CART. They claim AB 314 is designed to allow companies to skirt consumer disclosure in the name of modernization.
