The State Bar recommended a six-month suspension for an Orange County prosecutor whom they accused of withholding exculpatory evidence, as a disciplinary hearing concluded Friday with two final witnesses and closing arguments.

LOS ANGELES — The State Bar recommended a six-month suspension for Orange County prosecutor Sandra Lee Nassar, whom they accused of withholding exculpatory evidence, as a disciplinary hearing concluded Friday.

“Her testimony expressed no remorse, no acknowledgment, and utter defiance in this proceeding. Everyone but her got it wrong,” said Hugh G. Radigan, lead counsel for the bar.
