PRIVETT
Trial attorney Howard J. Privett, who litigated cases for nearly 40 years, died at his home in San Marino on July 21. He was 87.
“Howard was truly a giant in the legal field,” said Ralph Zarefsky, a retired U.S. magistrate judge for the Central District of California. “He had a command in the courtroom that was really unlike anybody else ... and he was simply a terrific attorney in every way.”
