LOS ANGELES — Was a determination by a cosmetics review panel that talc is safe unethically influenced by the cosmetic industry?
That’s what Mississippi plaintiff’s attorney Allen Smith tried to get the jury to see during cross-examination of a defense witness Friday in the bellwether trial claiming Johnson & Johnson should have warned customers about a link between its baby powder and ovarian cancer.
