Santa Monica’s new city attorney takes helm
Lane Dilg has begun her new position as Santa Monica City Attorney.
Lane Dilg, a former senior counsel at UCLA, was named the Santa Monica city attorney.
Dilg began the job Monday, replacing Marsha Moutrie, who retired in December after 22 years. Joseph Lawrence was interim city attorney for the past six months.
Dilg oversees 24 attorneys and support staff working in civil litigation, code enforcement and criminal prosecution.
