SACRAMENTO — A Sacramento County judge has issued a tentative ruling ordering Attorney General Xavier Becerra to rewrite the title and summary of an initiative to repeal a recent gas tax hike.
Superior Court Judge Timothy M. Frawley on Tuesday called the text written by Department of Justice attorneys “confusing and misleading and likely to create prejudice against the proposed measure.”
