Trial attorney Todd C. Toral was half blind at the finish of his second full Ironman swim.

“Shortly after the first buoy, somebody clocked me in the face,” the Jenner & Block LLP partner recalled, noting the underwater punch resulted in a severely swollen right eye.

“Nobody’s intending to do that,” he added. “It’s just a bit of a mess out there in the water and some people get disoriented.”
