Wildfires force more county courts to postpone trials

Courts in Napa and Mendocino counties postponed all jury trials, joining Sonoma County, which already shut down its county and federal courts due to the wildfires sweeping across Northern California.

Courts in Napa and Mendocino counties postponed all jury trials, joining Sonoma County, which already shut down its county and federal courts due to the wildfires sweeping across Northern California.

Criminal jury trials in the Napa and Mendocino counties were moved to the following week as the court anticipates jurors and witnesses failing to appear for scheduled hearings. The closure of Sonoma County courts is indefinite.
