NY, UK police confirm Weinstein investigations
New York police are asking for cooperation from Weinstein’s alleged victims.

Police in New York and the United Kingdom reported Thursday that they’ve opened criminal investigations into Harvey Weinstein over allegations of assault.
An NYPD spokesperson confirmed that the department is investigating an alleged sexual assault incident from 2004, but declined further comment. The department provided a statement on the investigation asking for public cooperation from anyone with information on allegations.
