Federal and local agencies set up legal assistance hotline for Northern California wildfire survivors

As Northern California wildfire survivors face an uphill battle on several legalfronts, federal and local agencies coordinated to set up a hotline to provide assistance from volunteer lawyers.

As Northern California wildfire survivors face an uphill battle on several legalfronts, federal and local agencies have coordinated to set up a hotline to provide assistance from volunteer lawyers.

Individuals affected by the fires can call the hotline for disaster-related legal issues, including landlord and tenant problems, insurance and Federal Emergency Management Agency claims, and consumer issues such as contractor fraud.
