California to get $7M in settlement with General Motors

In a $120 multi-state settlement over the failure to disclose safety issues, California will get $7 million out of a settlement with General Motors Company.

In a $120 million multi-state settlement with General Motors Co. over concealed safety issues, California will get $7 million.

The deal encompasses 49 states and the District of Columbia, and will resolve an investigation into GM’s failure to disclose safety defects related to vehicle key rotation and ignition.
