9th Circuit affirms Steinbeck dismissal
The tone of the opinion could imply that the court is not impressed by the appellant’s argument.
Perhaps anticipating an appeal of a $13.5 million adverse ruling in a related case, a 9th Circuit Court of Appeals panel offered Thursday a curt rejection of an appeal challenging the dismissal of a lawsuit in the John Steinbeck estate battle.
