Sutter Health sanctioned for destroying evidence

A San Francisco County judge has sanctioned Sutter Health for intentionally destroying 10 years’ worth of evidence in a lawsuit contending that the company made backroom deals with major health insurance companies that illegally insulated them from price competition, resulting in inflated Northern California hospital prices.
