Feinstein reviewing disputed ABA testimony on judicial nominee
Sen. Dianne Feinstein made a rare request to postpone the nomination hearing for a controversial candidate to the 8th Circuit after receiving new information that appears to dispute some information presented in testimony from the American Bar Association.
The rift between Senate Republicans and the American Bar Association over the ratings of judicial nominations appears to be widening again.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-California, made a rare request last week to postpone a hearing for a candidate to the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Feinstein received information that appears to dispute testimony an ABA representative presented at a hearing that was critical of the nominee.
