State Bar review of examiners committee sparks conflict
A state Supreme Court official recently got involved to try stem tensions between the committee and the bar.
The State Bar’s ongoing review of the Committee of Bar Examiners’ functions has sparked tensions between the panel and the agency that recently necessitated the intervention of a top state Supreme Court official.
The involvement of Carin T. Fujisaki, principal attorney to Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye, came after leaders of the bar examiners and the bar exchanged written messages that fueled the simmering dispute.
