After more than a decade of litigation, a land development company has filed a $45.2 million claim against San Bernardino County for failing to indemnify them against criminal and civil cases challenging the legality of a 2006 settlement, as the county had agreed to do. The claim, filed Thursday morning, follows a demand letter presented to the county’s Board of Supervisors one month ago.
