Four former Beaumont officials admitted to orchestrating a scheme that bilked the city out of tens of millions of dollars over 20 years during a sentencing hearing on Tuesday.
Riverside County Superior Court Judge Mac Fischer received guilty pleas from Beaumont’s former city manager Alan Kapanicas, former finance director William Aylward, former city planner Ernest Egger, and former economic development director David Dillon.
