App Annie hires tech industry transactions vet as general counsel
San Francisco-based app data company formalizes its legal team with general counsel appointment.

App Annie Inc., a San Francisco-based company that provides market data on mobile applications, appointed Scott A. Marcus as general counsel.
The company has spent the last six months developing its executive team, appointing a chief revenue officer and a chief financial officer in August. Marcus’ appointment was announced in a release that also named a chief people officer, Natasha Kehimkar.
