Internship program offers opportunities for low-income teenagers
LOS ANGELES — California’s first-generation, college-bound high school students are getting the chance to intern at Los Angeles legal organizations.
The Expanding Horizons Internship program, run by the Constitutional Rights Foundation, was founded in 1995. The paid, five-week program gives sophomore and junior level students internship opportunities at law firms, corporations, government agencies and non-profit organizations.
