Sterling Ernie Norris, 1939-2017
Judicial Watch attorney and longtime LA County prosecutor remembered for civil, criminal cases.
NORRIS
Sterling Ernie Norris, a Judicial Watch Inc. attorney who prosecuted some of Los Angeles County’s most high-profile cases as a deputy district attorney in the 1970s and 1980s, has died.
His son-in-law, U.S. District Judge André Birotte Jr., said Tuesday that Norris died Dec. 28 at the age of 78. A funeral is scheduled Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. John Baptist De La Salle in Granada Hills.
