A data analytics company is seeking damages against a former client for allegedly using improperly obtained real estate data to start a competing business.

A data analytics company is seeking damages against a former client it accuses of using improperly obtained real estate data to start a competing business.

Plaintiff Collateral Analytics LLC claims that Nationstar Mortgage LLC obtained its technology, confidential information and trade secrets, then improperly handed this information to a subsidiary, Quantarium LLC, to build a functional equivalent to its service.
