New justices sworn in for 4th and 6th Districts
Superior court judges Thomas Goethals of Orange County and Mary Greenwood of Santa Clara County were confirmed and sworn in.
Superior court judges Thomas Goethals of Orange County and Mary Greenwood of Santa Clara County were confirmed and sworn in as justices of the California Courts of Appeal on Thursday.
Before he was unanimously approved by a three-member Commission on Judicial Appointments,Goethals recalled visiting the state Supreme Court when he was a teenager to watch his father argue a case.
