Stay lifted in false advertising suit against opioid makers

The Orange County judge indicated her unwillingness to sustain defense demurrers.

SANTA ANA -- An Orange County Superior Court judge lifted a stay Friday in a major false advertising lawsuit against opioid manufacturers after indicating her willingness to schedule an early trial and her unwillingness to sustain demurrers filed by defense attorneys.
