Judicial Council for 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals says that it is unable to address merits of complaints against former 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Alex Kozinski in light of his complete retirement from the bench.

The judicial misconduct investigation of former Judge Alex Kozinski came to a conclusion Monday, when the judicial council of the New York-based 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals released an unsigned order saying that it no longer had authority to investigate the retired judge in light of his departure from the bench.
