Uber and Alphabet-owned Waymo settle trade secrets lawsuit
Uber Technologies Inc. settled the trade secret case brought against it by Waymo LLC Friday morning, agreeing to give the autonomous car tech company an equity stake valued at roughly $244 million.

Google Ventures made a $258 million investment into Uber in 2013. Google Ventures has the same parent company as Waymo, Alphabet Inc.
