HUESTON

Representatives for Sen. Kamala Harris, D-California, appear to be poised to interview candidates vying for seats on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Powerhouse litigator John C. Hueston and Los Angeles Olympics executive Brian E. Nelson confirmed Tuesday in phone interviews that they were involved in Harris’ judicial commission, which is responsible for screening prospective candidates for federal bench seats in California.
