Redbox avoids injunction in Disney case

A federal judge found Disney’s “fine print” constituted copyright misuse, not an agreement.

A federal judge found that the fine print on Disney's packaging wasn't specific enough to warrant granting an injunction against Redbox LLC, giving the DVD retailer an early win in a war over its resale of digital download codes for Disney films.
